Hi, You usually receive that error when one party has a slightly modified version of the map (different map height for example). Therefore the host will transfer its own version to the joining players.

This is not the case if the map is 'officially' included in the patch you are playing. Now as to why the transfer fails, try closing the 2nd slot when you host a game and your friend joining in the 3rd slot. This may be due to some firewall blocking file transfer, but really if both of you have the same exact copy of the map then this shouldn't happen. The game is for some reason not able to locate the maps in your roaming folder when they`re in a folder in another folder. When you downloaded the map pack, I`ll bet all your maps are in separate folders inside of the downloaded map pack folder.

My friend and I both did this with similar maps and a map transfer wasn`t even necessary, as it should be when both parties have the same map. Simply put, you`re deleting the downloaded map pack folder and moving its contents directly into the' Maps' folder in your roaming folder. It really is a silly little thing.
